Core features for daily shooting

Easily spotted by its blue jog wheel, the Base model supports ProRes recording up to 60 fps and covers frame sizes including 4K 16:9, 4K 2:1, 3.8K UHD, and 2K S16. It supports Look Files with CDL and 3D LUTs, has Enhanced Sensitivity up to EI 6400, and provides three independent 10-bit outputs for both SDR and HDR monitoring.

With a license-based system, the Base model can grow with your needs. Choose license durations of 7 days, 30 days, 1 year, or permanent, making it ideal for any type of project or career step.

• 120 fps License: Enables high-speed capture up to 120 fps in 4K UHD.
• ARRIRAW License: Provides uncompressed, unencrypted raw footage for post flexibility.
• Open Gate/Anamorphic License: Activates all Open Gate and anamorphic formats with de-squeeze.
• Look License: Unlocks all ARRI Textures, 87 ARRI Looks, and full color management tools.
• Pre-record License: Captures up to 20 seconds before record starts — ideal for unpredictable action.

All five features are bundled into the Premium License, making the Base model fully feature-rich when needed — at a cost equivalent to the standard Premium version.

Entry-level sets

Choose from eight curated sets across three categories: Entry, Operator, and Production. Entry Sets are the most economical, including LPL Mount, PL-to-LPL Adapter, lightweight accessories, and CCM-1 monitor. Optional upgrades include 3x 1TB Compact Drive Express and USB-C Reader.

Operator sets

Ideal for fast-paced work, these sets include LPL Mount, PL-to-LPL Adapter, Touchdown base plate, MVF-2 viewfinder, and optional Compact Drives. A PL Mount (Hirose) is also available for sports broadcast needs.

Production sets

Includes the same accessories as the Premium Production sets. Designed for high-end storytelling, these sets are rental-compatible and support both 15 mm and 19 mm studio rods for flexible rigging.

Compact Drive Express

The new 1TB drive supports ProRes-only recording at the same fps as standard Compact Drives — but with 40% cost savings. A smart pairing with the Base model for cost-effective storage.

With 17 stops of dynamic range, including an extra 1.5 in highlights and 1 in shadows, the ALEXA 35 captures unmatched contrast. Natural highlight roll-off and stray-light suppression preserve true lens character — making it a go-to for HDR production.
